Self Reflection
In my first Journals for class, I said “I don’t consider myself a good writer, but when it comes to writing about anything I like like music, my personal history, or my culture; I love writing about it. One of my goals for this semester is to try to relate each topic that they talk about in each class, relate it to my life, or pay attention to the points that catch my attention the most.” In reality, in many projects for different classes, I try to relate it to my life, which helps me a lot to create work of that kind. The Strategy helped me a lot to develop myself, learn about each topic, and helped me become a better writer.
This was my first year at university, which I can achieve by graduating from university. I have three brothers, I am the youngest and I am the first to go to university. In my first semester, it was something I couldn’t even believe, on my first day of class it was something innovative within me. The first impression of the teacher was the complete opposite of what he thought. The teacher was a sweet person, his confidence and his vibe made my nerves go away and I felt better. I think I’ve been fortunate, all my teachers have been lovely, and I think that’s made me pay attention in their classes and be able to become my projects.
The book that helped me in my first year of college
Like every human being, I have a goal in life. But my goal during my time at university is to stay in shape, learn from everything I do, and turn in my work on time. They are very big goals in my opinion, but they are not impossible. For a few days, I have been reading a book called “Atomic Habits” by James Clear. It is a pretty good book to improve your habits. This book was recommended to me by a former Gym classmate one day when I came across it on the train, I was on my way to university and he was on his way to work. When I was reading this book I found the author’s story during his time in high school and his time at university very interesting. I mention this book because the book has the key to how to have better habits, and those habits will help me achieve the goals I want to achieve during my time at university. I like to connect motivating things and relate it to my life because that helps me move forward and not look for excuses not to do things.
This year has been a period of profound growth and self-discovery. My initial hesitation about writing has been replaced by new confidence, thanks to the personal connections I have made with my coursework and supportive academic environment. “Atomic Habits” has equipped me with the tools to cultivate a disciplined and motivated mindset essential to my continued success. As I look to the future, I am excited to build on these foundations, continually improve myself, and strive to achieve my goals with determination and enthusiasm.
